Jones had the most difficult of lives being the daughter of a single mother who had five other children. Her mother was constantly moving and stayed for a while in the basement of the church. Jones her nomadic life forced her to change schools every year until she reached high school. In Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones lived apart from her mother in order to pursue her passion for the track and field events. She lived at four different homes during her time in high school so that she could attend all of her classes in one location. Jones won her Gatorade track and field athlete of the year award at high school. As a student cellist, Jones was also part of her school's school orchestra. Jones was a college student when she went to university, was recognized as a top hurdler. She won the winner of the 100-meter hurdles during the NCAA Track & Field Championship. In addition, she was an athlete that placed second in the 100 meter relay. In 2003 and 2004 Jones took home the hurdles indoor event at the NCAA Championship. Jones started her career with the year 2005, after she finished her bachelor's degree. Jones began training to prepare for a successful track career. In 2005 she was winning the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she took in the Heusden and Ostrava athletes.
The family was raised and born from Cape Town South Africa Brandt relocated with her family Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. Brandt was spotted locally by casting directors and landed the role of Naevia on the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. She starred in the hit Netflix show Lucifer that had a six years run as the fan favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Brandt will next be seen in a 6-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira, which will air in 2024. Brandt also appears alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in a mature animated feature that will be released on Netflix on July 20, 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa on the 2nd of December, 1981. She is a New Zealand actress with a great talents. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in the year 1999. The first time she worked within Auckland as a retail store owner before being promoted to an IT consultant. Lesley started out modeling after which she began appearing in commercials. Her graduation was with a degree in acting in the year 2008. Then in 2009, she started learning in Meisner methods of study. Lesley's first major acting gig was in the new Zealand TV show Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting character on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. In the sequel to this sci-fi series This Is Not My Life she portrayed the city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt starred in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand in the role of Naevia the hostage. She later appeared in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
